It was all about my sexual insecurities and how I didn’t really like her showing me videos of certain things or talking about certain things because it made me feel like I couldn’t provide certain things that she wanted sexually. I was also using whippets anywhere from 5-15 every few nights. I had bought a big supply of them online and once I had it on my mind that I wanted to use them it was very hard to stop myself. Each time I used them I would say to myself, ‘okay from now on, only when I’m on a psychedelic,’ which I do on average once a month more or less, but I kept looking for an excuse to do a small amount of them. I’m someone who advocates for responsible drug use and this did not seem responsible to me deep down. I knew I wasn’t doing enough to kill myself, and I was taking proper harm reduction and safety precautions, except that I was using these whipped cream chargers to escape thinking about my problems, which is something that I know can lead to a downward spiral.\n\nThe next day at work I did a lot of thinking. I went deep into my past and for the first time I began questioning my own sexuality due to many events that I had just passed off as random shit that everyone goes through and then repressed those memories. It was very confusing and still is to a certain extent. I knew I liked women, but I began to realize that I was also attracted to men. So, after work I told T, who is bisexual, all of this. We both cried and I had so many thoughts that I knew I had to address but I was pretty scared to do so. I wasn’t sure what was going on at the time. My thoughts were scrambled. Was I actually bisexual? Was my whole sexual history a lie? All those times I had made homophobic jokes I had been such a hypocrate. So I did a few whippets that night.\n\nI knew the next day at work would be difficult because of all the thoughts on my mind but I didn’t want to call out because I had just missed a couple of weeks with COVID. So I went to work and it was tough. I was trying not to cry all day, rethinking my whole sexual history and it was just so confusing. I didn’t want to talk to anyone because I knew anyone would ask what was wrong and I wasn’t ready to talk about any of this to my coworkers. I was also simultaneously trying to tell myself that I wasn’t going to use any whippets that night. But then I thought, ‘well I could try my LSZ, as it’s been over two weeks since I last did shrooms,’. It was stupid. I’m not an idiot, I know that psychedelics shouldn’t be taken on an impulse decision, but I was having a lot of thoughts. I was very confused, and I thought I needed something to cope, also that was the perfect excuse to do as much nitrous as I wanted that night. I wasn’t thinking about the fact that I had literally no experience with novel psychedelics and this was a drug that I really should have planned in advance for at least two weeks like I normally would, but I didn’t care. I told myself that this would be the way I could organize my thoughts. I would be able to determine finally if I was actually bisexual or I was just confused. T picked me up from work that day and I told her my plan to trip that day and get a third person view of myself for a therapeutic experience. I planned to take a low enough dose to function, but I didn’t really know what a low dose of LSZ was for me, even though I thought I did. This isn’t the exact same thing as LSD, whether I want it to be or not. \n\nSo when we got home I cleaned up our room a little bit, rolled up a couple of joints, and popped a little more than one and a half 150 μg tabs of LSZ. Probably just under 240 μg. I wasn’t really nervous. I’d say I was excited. I love tripping on psychedelics, and this was my first time trying a new one in a long time. So T and I took the joints I rolled and went for a walk down the street to a trail near our house that led to an abandoned school. I asked T to ask me questions about my sexuality. She asked me questions about my feelings about men and it felt easier to answer them honestly. It might have been the first effects of LSZ, or it could have just been the weed. The first effects I noticed for sure were the bodily sensations. This was right about when we arrived at the school. It didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, but it made it somewhat hard to walk. I had to sit down a couple of times and sitting felt good. After we spent some time at the school, my thoughts became more clear and then some visual effects began to manifest. Color enhancement was first. There were sticks with colored dots on them and the sticks would almost become the color of the dots. I felt more connected to nature. I remember seeing a vine that was swirly and I was just absolutely amazed that nature could create something so geometric and beautiful.\n\nWe finished the joints and headed back home. I kept looking at the ground on the way. but there wasn’t much pattern recognition yet. When we got back I got some grapes from the fridge and went upstairs to T and my room. I remember looking out the window, absolutely amazed by the symmetry in the grass. It was something that I had experienced many times before on other psychedelics and constantly try to figure out why I love, but I just enjoyed it. I put on some music I liked. When T came upstairs I asked if she’d be okay with me doing some nitrous and she said ok. I was tripping pretty hard at this point and I did a pretty large balloon. It increased the visual effects and made me so happy. I yelled to T, “Ask me if I’m gay!” to which she responded, “Are you gay?” and I said, “Fuck yeah!” I was so happy to have access to as much nitrous as I wanted because that was really all I wanted to do for the duration of the trip after seeing what it did.\n\nT and I talked about Hamilton Morris and I talked about how I was attracted to him. We talked about all kinds of things relating to my bisexuality. The psychedelic was doing what I planned. It was giving me a third person view on myself. I kept doing more nitrous. I would do huge balloons and it would give me something of an out of body experience every time. I can’t really describe what happened when I did a balloon and left my body. I’ll say this. It was pretty much the same every time. It wasn’t intense like DMT where you meet entities and everything but it was somewhat intense. I wouldn’t call it scary at all. I guess I’d call it ego death but the most in my comfort zone ego death possible. There was a feeling of coming back, but as soon as I came back I was ready to go in and do more nitrous. It was fun. I liked it a lot, but doing these balloons over and over was definitely taking away from the LSZ. \n\nT and I started watching Family Guy at some point. It was very visually enticing and it was an episode about stewie crossdressing to get on a show which was something that I knew I should think about, because I used to dress like a girl when I was younger, but I was more interested in doing whippets and smoking weed. I eventually took a little break from the whomps. I felt like I had been all around the multiverse and I was kind of dissociated from my ego at this point, so I thought, what would [My Name] think in a normal about a guy ignoring why he did a novel psychedelic for the first time in order to ignore his complex emotions to do whippets? And it was a pretty simple answer, He would think that person needs to address those emotions. I was being hypocritical. I was in denial. I put on some trippy visuals because they make me comfortable on psychedelics. So I asked myself, Is [My Name] bisexual? What would [My Name] think if he knew all the gay stuff I’ve done? And the answer was a pretty obvious yes. It took a lot more thinking about this but it made me a lot more comfortable about my sexuality. Then I thought to myself in 2nd person, ‘Are these whippets really worth it? Cause you stress yourself out with them a shit ton for a drug that you really don’t even enjoy that much,’ And that was a resounding no. So I decided I would finish my supply so that I wasn’t tempted and that would be the end of the experience.\n\nT was in and out of sleeping at this point, but I asked her if she wanted to go and smoke some weed in the car. We talked a little more and I told her that I was never going to do nitrous again after this experience, but I wanted to finish off my supply. T fell asleep not long after we went back inside and I finished off the whippets with a 7 charger balloon and had my final OBE. After that, I woke up T and apologized for this not going according to plan. \n\nIn conclusion, this experience was very helpful. LSZ is very similar to LSD but a lot less spiritual. I have accepted my bisexuality now and don’t ever use whippets anymore. It was pretty irresponsible for me to take this drug at this time considering what I was going through, but it ended up being one of my most helpful psychedelic experiences that I’ve had. I will definitely try LSZ again and I want to see the full potential of it, as I believe I missed out on a lot, fiending for those OBE’s on the whippets. LSZ is definitely a drug that I recommend to anyone looking for a more fun and less intense LSD-like trip.\n\nThanks for reading ☯️🤙","body_length":9584,"dose_notes":["partial dose: 150.0 µg — substance not identified","partial dose: 240.0 µg — substance not identified"],"doselog":null,"doses":[{"amount":150,"quality":"partial","unit":"µg"},{"amount":240,"quality":"partial","unit":"µg"}],"flair":"Other Psychedelic","headers":null,"id":"mpj1hy","num_comments":2,"prep_flags":null,"pubdate":"2021-04-12","routes":["smoked"],"score":11,"substances":["Cannabis","DMT","LSA","LSD","LSZ","Nitrous Oxide","Psilocybin Mushrooms","Salvia divinorum"],"time_format":null,"title":"Facing my Emotions on LSZ and Nitrous","upvote_ratio":0.8700000047683716,"url":"https://reddit.com/r/tripreports/comments/mpj1hy/facing_my_emotions_on_lsz_and_nitrous/"},{"author":"DMTrott","body":"Practise harm reduction. Stay safe.\n\n.\n\n**WHAT IS THE DRUG USERS BIBLE?**\n\nIn a nutshell, it’s a 638 page harm reduction reference tome. From Amazon:\n\n“*Over a 12 year period the author of this book self-administered over 180 psychoactive substances; both chemicals and plants. For each he recorded the life-sensitive safety data, including the anticipated onset times, the common threshold doses, the routes of administration, and the expected duration of the experience. In addition, for every compound he also produced a trip report, detailing the qualitative experience itself. This delivered another invaluable insight, enabling, for example, an objective assessment of the extent of any loss of judgement and self-control.*”\n\n**WHY IS IT NOW A FREE PDF?**\n\nIt was written to reach as many consumers as possible, and ideally, to imbed a harm reduction check-point into the individual’s drug-usage process, whatever their drug of choice. But how to reach the consumer who is perhaps in a social setting and is short on time?\n\nThe answer for many will be via their mobile phones; and the provision of instant access to something the individual actually owns (the PDF). This sense of ownership is undoubtedly a factor in terms of motivation to reference.\n\nFurther, upon opening the PDF there is no requirement to search or to think or to work anything out. All that is needed is a swipe down to that drug of choice.\n\nNote also that the book’s layout was specifically designed with this in mind: for each drug the essential data is at the top of the page, followed by a break in the form of a photograph, and then the ‘delve deeper’ in the form of text and detail.\n\nFor many, this is surely the most cogent scenario in terms of preventing tragedy. It’s possibly as simple as it gets. Alternatively, of course, the PDF can be used on a PC or laptop or wherever is required.\n\n**THE DOWNLOAD LINKS ARE HERE**\n\nYou can currently download it directly from Google Drive, Microsoft Drive, Mega, Apple iCloud and Dropbox. The links are on the following page:\n\n[https://www.drugusersbible.com/2018/01/pdf.html](https://www.drugusersbible.com/2018/01/pdf.html)\n\n**HOW YOU CAN HELP OTHERS**\n\nIt really is vital that we make harm reduction information ubiquitous within our community. It really is ignorance that kills so many of us. We really really must do our best as a community to make safety practices second nature, and get the essential data to everyone who needs it. You can help with this project. Please do help.\n\nIf you are able, please download it and re-upload it to wherever is appropriate: to anywhere from which anyone who uses drugs may see it, and be able to download it themselves for free. Or alternatively just share the download link.\n\nIgnorance kills, but I hope that some of you will help to save some of those lives. The portability of a PDF may help to at least put the idea of harm reduction on the agenda where it was previously overlooked.\n\n**FINALLY**\n\nTogether, let’s try to make a difference.
